The Art of Evolved Living: My Conversation with Leanne McClain

Two women hug. One is wearing a pink sweater; the other is wearing a pink scarf over her head. They appear to be comforting each other.

When I talk about a "peaceful end of life," I’m not just referring to the final moments. To me, it’s about the healing, the stories, and the legacy we cultivate long before we reach that transition.

In this video, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Leanne McClain to explore what it means to live—and eventually leave—with intention. We dive into the "Art of Evolved Living," discussing how we can transform our perspective on mortality to actually enhance the way we live today.

We talked about:

  • The Power of Story: Why sharing our journey is a vital part of the healing process for ourselves and those we love.
  • Redefining Legacy: Moving beyond assets and looking at the values and lessons we leave behind.
  • Finding Peace in Transition: How open communication and addressing "unfinished business" can create a much gentler path forward.

I believe that the end of life can be as meaningful and sacred as the beginning. I hope this conversation brings you some comfort and perhaps a new perspective on your own unique journey.

Special Note:  This conversation was recorded several years ago, and while the guidance shared here is still meaningful, my work and offerings have evolved to focus on patient advocacy and support across the continuum of care. If you’re interested in current ways to work together, please visit my Services page and Contact page for information about my consultation options.
